About The Role
You'll be part of our Newman-based maintenance crew delivering a variety of electrical maintenance, repairs and installation work across residential and commercial properties.
You'll work across a diverse portfolio of residential homes, government facilities, commercial buildings and accommodation properties throughout Newman and surrounding regions.
Your day-to-day may include:
Residential and commercial electrical maintenance
Fault finding and electrical repairs
Lighting, power and switchboard maintenance
Testing, inspection and compliance works
Installation and replacement of electrical fixtures and equipment
Preventative maintenance and servicing
Identifying practical long-term solutions for clients
Completing job notes, photos and close-outs through ServiceM8
Working autonomously across scheduled maintenance jobs
Delivering high-quality workmanship and professional customer service
This is ongoing maintenance work with genuine variety, not repetitive construction, project or shutdown work.
Roster, Location & Accommodation
Roster: FIFO 2 Weeks On / 1 Week Off
Hours: 70-hour work week – 6:30 am to 5:00 pm
Location: Newman & Surrounding Areas

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a capable, reliable electrician who can work independently, communicate professionally and take ownership of their work.
Essential
WA Electrical Workers Licence
Current Manual C-Class Driver's Licence
White Card
Current Asbestos Awareness Training Certificate from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
Forklift Licence (LF)
Current CPR/LVR Certification
Strong maintenance electrical experience
Ability to diagnose faults and solve problems independently
Strong understanding of WHS requirements
Professional communication and customer service skills
Ability to work unsupervised and manage your workload effectively
Comfortable using digital job management systems (training provided)
Highly Regarded
First Aid Certificate
Working at Heights
EWP Ticket
Split System Air Conditioning Disconnect/Reconnect Licence
Experience using ServiceM8 or similar software
Previous FIFO or remote maintenance experience
Residential and commercial maintenance experience
