Spray Painter - Industrial Chassis

About the Role

X‑Treme Chassis is seeking a skilled and motivated Spray Painter to join our growing team in Epping, Victoria. In this role, you will apply high‑quality paint finishes to a range of automotive and industrial components, ensuring every product meets our exacting standards. You’ll be part of a supportive, experienced team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming

• Mixing and applying paint, lacquer, and other finishes using spray equipment

• Delivering consistent, high‑quality paint finishes across all products

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area

• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

• Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines and customer expectations

• Providing guidance to the paint prepper and helping build their skills

• Assisting in setting up efficient workflows within the paint area

What We’re Looking For

• Trade qualification in spray painting or equivalent industry experience

• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality work

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced production environment

• Experience with a variety of spray painting equipment and techniques

• Knowledge of automotive paint systems, products, and finishes

• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot paint issues

• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork

• Ability to support and mentor less experienced team members
