About the Role
Talent Web is exclusively partnering with one of the country’s leading data centre operators to recruit multiple electricians or HVAC technicians for a large-scale data centre environment in Western Sydney.
This is a great opportunity for an electrician or HVAC technician wanting to get off the tools and move into one of Australia’s fastest-growing and most sought-after sectors.

The role is largely off the tools, focused on monitoring, diagnostics, contractor supervision, safety, incident response and preventative maintenance coordination.

This is a strong entry point for someone wanting long-term career security, strong earning potential and genuine future growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor critical systems including BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLCs and controls
  • Support UPS, generators, HVAC, fire and electrical infrastructure
  • Supervise contractors and ensure work is completed safely
  • Assist with planned and reactive maintenance
  • Respond to alarms, incidents and technical issues
  • Complete shift reports, maintenance records and site documentation
  • Support a structured, safety-focused critical environment

Requirements
  • Must have trade qualification in electrical, HVAC, or refrigeration
  • Must have exposure to UPS, generators, BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLCs, HVAC or critical systems
  • Suited to someone wanting to move away from being fully on the tools
  • Comfortable working 4 days on, 4 days off on a rotating roster
  • Must have Australian citizenship and ability to obtain NV1 security clearance
