Boilermaker Rigger

About the role

Helix Rigging and Fabrication Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker or Rigger to join our team in Ipswich, QLD. This full-time role supports our operations and delivering high-quality structural steel, rigging, metalwork & general engineering projects to our clients. 

What you'll be doing

• Installation of structural steel & performing on-site activities.

• Processing, fabricating & welding structural steel

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Operating various welding equipment, including MIG and stick

• Ensuring all work is completed to the high safety and quality standards

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Boilermaking, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade

• Experience as a Boilermaker or Rigger, preferably proficient in structural steel

• Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG and stick

• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety

• A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain relevant tickets and certifications
