About the role

This is a Temp to Perm welder position with our client located in Acacia Ridge, a leading provider of precision engineering. As a Fabricator/Welder (MIG & TIG), you will be responsible for carrying out welding tasks using various techniques to produce top-notch metal components and structures.

What you'll be doing

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal materials and thicknesses

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate welding

• Prepare and assemble metal components for welding

• Operate and maintain welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner

• Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of projects

• Identify and rectify any issues or defects in the welded components

• Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and quality standards

  
What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a welder, with a strong understanding of MIG and TIG welding techniques

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Current welding certifications or qualifications

• Supervisory exp an advantage
