About the role

Our expanding General Construction division is seeking Field Service Plant Mechanics to provide fast, high‑quality onsite support across Sydney NSW, diagnosing, servicing and repairing a broad range of CAT marine and industrial power systems..

In this unique role, you'll work on a diverse range of equipment - from marine engines powering commercial vessels to critical generators supporting hospitals, data centres, and major retail operations. Your expertise will help keep essential services running and ensure our customers have reliable power when they need it most.

Roster and Remuneration!

Roster Options

  • Day shift only - Monday to Friday, 10.5 hour days.
  • Phone, laptop and tool of trade vehicle supplied
  • Annual earnings $135,000 to $170,000*

*Above rates are a guide; each candidate will be assessed on skill and experience

Skills & Experience

  • Strong technical and diagnostic skills with an Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade (Heavy Diesel or Mobile Plant)
  • A genuine passion for CAT equipment and delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining safety and compliance.
  • Excellent attitude to your work, and dedication to safe work practices
  • Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Applicants with site bans are ineligible for Field Service Positions
