Salary: $110,000 – $145,000 + Allowances + Relocation Support
Location: Kalgoorlie (Residential – Home Every Night)
Roster: 5:2 | 9.5-hour days
Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

You will work across both mine site and workshop environments, carrying out fabrication, welding, repairs, and maintenance work.

The role includes a mix of workshop fabrication and on-site mining maintenance work, including shutdown support when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux Core)

• Reading and working from drawings and job specs

• Workshop fabrication of structural steel, tanks, and components

• Mine site maintenance, repairs, and shutdown work

• Cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembly work

• Repairing and modifying mining and industrial equipment

• Working safely in both workshop and site environments

• Completing basic job paperwork (Take 5s, JHAs, timesheets)

Requirements

• Trade qualification – Boilermaker / Fabricator (Cert III)

• Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience

• Experience in mining, heavy industry, or workshop fabrication

• Able to read drawings and work independently

• Strong safety awareness

• Confined Space & Working at Heights (or willing to obtain)

• Driver’s licence (HR/LR is an advantage)

Pre-employment requirements:

• National Police Clearance

• Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
