About the Role

As a Trade Assistant, you'll work alongside licensed plumbers and gas fitters delivering residential upgrades, including:

• Assisting with removal of old gas hot water and heating systems

• Supporting installation of new electric heat pump hot water units and electric heating solutions

• Operating hand and power tools safely

• Preparing, clearing, and maintaining worksites

• Transporting materials, equipment, and stock

• A current full Australian driver's licence is required for this position

• Maintaining workshop and vehicle cleanliness

• Following all safety, compliance, and quality standards

About You

• Experience in plumbing, gas, HVAC, mechanical or similar trade environments is preferred

• Minimum 6 months of relevant trade experience is required

• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights

• Basic level of physical fitness is required to perform role duties effectively

• Strong safety awareness and willingness to learn

• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Reliable, proactive, and able to work well within a team

• Excellent communication skills

• Must currently reside in Australia (Adelaide preferred or willing to relocate)
