About the Role – Paint Prepper
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Paint Prepper to join our North Geelong workshop.
This is a critical role supporting the paint team—ensuring vehicles are fully prepared to deliver high-quality refinishing results.
Key Responsibilities:
Masking and preparing vehicles for painting
Surface preparation (sanding, priming, cleaning)
Identifying substrates and applying correct prep techniques
Restoring anti-corrosion treatments
Mixing and applying undercoats/primers
Supporting workshop flow and paint team efficiency
What You’ll Bring
2+ years’ experience in a panel shop or collision repair environment
Strong understanding of vehicle prep and refinishing processes
High attention to detail and quality standards
Reliable, team-focused approach
Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment
