Full-time | $50/hr + 15% shift allowance + tool allowance | Comgroup Supplies

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our ever-growing maintenance team, located at our Cleveland site.

🌤️ CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:

• PM shifts – 2.00pm to 10.00pm

• Monday to Friday + some Saturdays & O/T (as required)

🛠️ DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Support the production operations through proactive/reactive maintenance.

• Fabrication and repair of food processing equipment/machinery.

• Minimise downtime of production through effective maintenance.

• Support current and upcoming projects/upgrade processes.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on machinery, including lockout/tagout procedures, PPE usage and equipment guarding.

• Regular reporting to the site Maintenance Manager.

🦺 REQUIREMENTS OF THIS ROLE:

• Certificate 3 in Engineering (Mechanical) or Fitter & Turner trade.

• Metal fabrication skills and experience (machining/ TIG welding).

• Experience working within a production/food manufacturing environment - advantageous.

• Knowledge of production machinery to be able to tend to breakdowns or other assigned tasks.

• Ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team environment.

• Self-motivated and a fast learner.

• LF Forklift Licence - desirable, but not mandatory.

• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle to get to and from work.

• Permanent working rights in Australia - citizen or permanent resident.
