At Patriot Campers, we don't just build camper trailers, we build adventures.

We're looking for a Customer Experience Officer who will take ownership of the customer journey from the moment a deposit is received through to handover day. This is a role for someone who genuinely cares about people, communicates exceptionally well, and takes pride in delivering an experience that exceeds expectations.

This is not a typical administration role.

You'll be the person our customers know, trust and rely on throughout their build journey. You'll celebrate the exciting moments, manage expectations when challenges arise, and ensure customers feel informed and supported every step of the way.

Because we're a manufacturer, things don't always go exactly to plan. Production schedules can change, suppliers can cause delays, and unexpected challenges can arise. Your role is to absorb the complexity, communicate clearly, and ensure our customers experience professionalism, confidence and transparency at all times.

What You'll Be Doing

As the primary point of contact for customers during the production and delivery phase, you'll:

  • Welcome new customers and guide them through the next steps following their purchase

  • Build strong relationships and maintain regular communication throughout the production journey

  • Provide proactive updates and manage customer expectations

  • Work closely with our Production team to understand build schedules and communicate progress accurately

  • Assist customers with vehicle suitability, towing requirements and handover preparation

  • Manage option selections and ensure key deadlines are met

  • Coordinate final payments and delivery arrangements

  • Conduct Customer Acceptance Testing and pre-delivery inspections on completed units

  • Verify that all selected options have been installed correctly and that units meet Patriot Campers' presentation standards

  • Identify and troubleshoot issues prior to customer handover, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely resolution

  • Prepare trailers for customer collection, including cleaning, presentation and setup

  • Deliver professional handovers, including product demonstrations, set up and pack down camper trailers and associated equipment, hitch customer trailers to vehicles and ensure safe and correct setup before departure

  • Ensure customers understand servicing requirements and available after-sales support

  • Maintain accurate customer records and internal documentation

  • Support showroom operations and attend trade show events when required

About You

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet when unexpected issues arise

  • A practical, hands-on approach and confidence troubleshooting minor issues independently

  • A calm and professional approach under pressure and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of people

  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership

  • Reasonable physical fitness and mobility, as the role involves moving trailers, setting up and packing down tents, opening and closing camper trailers, conducting inspections and spending time on your feet

Experience in customer service, account management, client services, automotive, manufacturing, trades, or premium retail environments would be highly regarded.

A towing background, experience with caravans/campers, mechanical aptitude, or hands-on technical experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
