Alderley Automotive is a busy and well-established mechanical workshop looking for a reliable and customer-focused team member to join our afternoon shift team on a part-time basis.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in customer service, automotive parts interpreting, workshop administration, or the automotive industry who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
About the Role
This is a hands-on customer service and support role where no two days are the same. You’ll be assisting customers, supporting workshop operations, coordinating parts, and helping keep the business running smoothly during our afternoon operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting customers via phone, email, and in person
• Booking vehicles and managing customer enquiries
• Interpreting and sourcing automotive parts
• Liaising with suppliers and workshop staff
• Preparing quotes and invoices
• Coordinating parts deliveries and workshop requirements
• General administration and office support
What We’re Looking For
• Previous customer service experience
• Automotive parts interpreting experience highly regarded
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy workshop environment
• Positive attitude and team-first approach
• Good computer skills and attention to detail
• Experience with workshop management systems is an advantage
