About the Role

Trojan Canopies is seeking an experienced 12 Volt Installer / Canopy Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Tonsley, SA, this hands-on role involves the installation and customisation of trays, canopies, and 12-volt accessories on a wide range of 4x4 and commercial vehicles.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform custom 12-volt electrical installations, including lighting, dual battery systems, inverters, and power management solutions

• Customise canopies to suit customer specifications, including internal drawer systems, shelving, rear-mounted accessories, and roof-mounted accessories

• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting safety and quality requirements

• Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good working order

• Support the wider team with general workshop duties as required

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Tray and Canopy Fitter, 12 Volt Installer, Auto Electrician, or similar role within the 4x4 or automotive accessory industry

• Strong technical skills with excellent attention to detail

• Ability to problem-solve and deliver clean, professional installations

• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

• Current driver’s licence

• A genuine passion for 4x4 vehicles and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment

• Australian work rights (required)
