Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Plumber Drainer who excels at independently handling tasks such as rough-ins, drains, fit-offs, and stacks with efficiency and precision. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in managing a variety of tasks and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. Additionally, we are looking for a driven labourer/trade assistant, working in a great work environment where hard work is recognized and rewarded.

Key Responsibilities for Plumber Drainer:
Perform rough-ins, drains, fit-offs, and stacks on residential projects to the highest standard
Manage your time effectively to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining quality
Communicate effectively with the team and clients to address any issues or concerns
Undertake maintenance tasks as required, ensuring timely completion
Provide guidance and support to the Apprentice
Assist Plumbers, Drainers, and other team members with daily plumbing and drainage works across residential and commercial projects.
Perform general labouring duties including digging trenches, site preparation, backfilling, material handling, and site clean-up.
Assist with the installation of stormwater systems, downpipes, drainage pipework, and associated plumbing infrastructure.
Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials as required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised worksite at all times.
Follow all workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements.
Work collaboratively with supervisors and tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills within the plumbing and drainage industry.
Take care of company tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials provided for the job.
Attend any training provided by the company and apply learned skills in the workplace.
Full on-the-job training and ongoing support.
All tools and equipment required to perform your duties.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including high-visibility clothing and safety gear.

Qualifications for Plumber Drainer:
Proven experience in plumbing and drainage work within the residential sector
Ability to efficiently handle rough-ins, drains, fit-offs, and stacks, ensuring all work meets quality standards
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and local council requirements
Well presented
Qualifications for Trade Assistant/laborer:
Qld drivers license
Construction industry white card
A strong work ethic and commitment to learning—expect hard work, and be ready to take it on
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Familiarity with plumbing and downpipes is advantageous
Eagerness to advance in your trade and take on more complex tasks as you grow
Casual position offering $40–$45 per hour, based on experience, skills, and suitability for the role.
Following the successful completion of a three-month probation period, there may be an opportunity to transition to a full-time permanent position for the right candidate.
