Pirtek, the market leader in the manufacture, supply and installation of hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies is seeking to employ a Workshop Assistant / Delivery Driver for our WELSHPOOL BRANCH.

The person we are seeking needs to have excellent attention to detail, be a safe worker with a clean drivers license and be able to demonstrate the following skills:

  • Excellent communication skills - You must be proficient in written and spoken English

  • Strong customer service focus

  • Attention to detail (this is essential)

  • Computer Literate

  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic and trustworthy

  • Work within a busy team environment

  • Neat & tidy appearance

  • WA Driver's License with a clean driving record

  • Forklift ticket desirable but not essential

  • Desire to learn

  • Fit and healthy as there is some heavy lifting involved

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Delivering orders to customers and picking up from suppliers

  • Checking in orders and ensuring accuracy

  • Cleaning and general housekeeping

  • Picking and packing orders

  • Learning to make hydraulic hoses and other trade skills if desired for the right person

This is an entry level position with the possibility of promotion to Centre Technician in the future.

Working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. No weekend work required. Some flexibility may be possible for the right applicant.
