General Tradesperson

At Tradesales, we design and manufacture modified container solutions such as site offices, crib rooms, ablution blocks and more — supporting industries across Australia. As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for a reliable and skilled General Tradesperson to join our container fit-out team at our Grass Valley workshop.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Fit-out and modify shipping containers for industrial and commercial use

• Install doors, windows, cladding, insulation, and fixtures

• Carry out basic carpentry, welding, grinding, and general fabrication

• Read shop drawings and work to build specs

• Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and project teams

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience in carpentry, fabrication, or similar hands-on trade
✅ Ability to read plans and use power/hand tools with confidence
✅ Team player with a good work ethic and a safety-first mindset
✅ Physically fit and comfortable working in/around container structures
✅ Forklift ticket and/or White Card (desirable but not essential)
✅ Welding experience (a bonus!)
