MC Road Train Double side tipper driver

About the role

Kelly Transport WA is seeking an experienced MC Road Train / Double side tipper driver to join our team. This role offers a full time position after a three month probation period. As one of our drivers, you will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism and customer service. This role is critical to our operations and directly contributes to our reputation for delivering a reliable and punctual service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate MC road train and double side tipper vehicles safely and in compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any maintenance issues or damage

• Maintain accurate records of hours worked, distances travelled and a fatigue log

• Communicate effectively with customers and team members

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks and report defects promptly to management

• Demonstrate a commitment to safe driving practices and contribute to maintaining a strong safety culture within the team

What we're looking for

• Valid MC Licence

• Minimum of 2 years experience driving a road ranger

• Provide a commercial drivers medical/white card

• Pass a drug test

• Knowledge of heavy vehicle road rules, load management and fatigue management legislation

• An ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance

• Strong communication skills

• High level of responsibility and commitment to health and safety standards

• Desirable but not essential: BHP Inducted
