SPREADER OPERATOR - LOCAL & AWAY WORK

Due to continued success and rapid growth, our business has opportunities for reliable, experienced, and enthusiastic personnel to join our team.

The Role/Responsibilities:

  • Operate spreader trucks to achieve specified spread rates and uniform aggregate coverage, working in sync with spraying operations.

  • Assist with aggregate precoating processes, ensuring correct application rates and coating quality.

  • Complete daily pre-start inspections, trip sheets, timesheets, and fatigue management requirements.

  • Safely operate heavy vehicles, trailers, and equipment in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

  • Carry out basic maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and fault reporting.

  • Support the crew with other site duties as required, including laboring, rolling support, brooming, and general site assistance.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum HC Truck License (essential)

  • Willingness to learn and positive attitude

  • Experience in Asphalt or Spray Seal (essential)

  • Availability for ad hoc weekend work and work away 

  • A strong ‘team player’ with the proven positive attitude to work well with others
