Rigid Haul Truck Operator

Workforce International are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Rigid Haul Truck Operator to join our client’s team, located in Red Hill.

This role is being offered for an initial period of approximately six months, with the potential to extend depending on project requirements and performance.

Hours: Monday – Friday (approximately 5:00am – 5:00pm)

Responsibilities:

• Operate rigid haul trucks safely and efficiently within a hard rock quarry environment

• Transport blasted rock and quarry materials to designated locations

• Conduct daily pre-start inspections and report equipment faults

• Follow site safety procedures, traffic management plans, and production requirements

• Maintain communication with supervisors and other mobile plant operators

• Complete basic operational paperwork and production records

• Assist with general quarry duties as required

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating rigid haul trucks in a quarry, mining, or civil environment.

• Valid Rigid Haul Truck Ticket RIIMPO338E (Conduct rigid haul truck operations)

• Construction White Card

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including Silica Screening)

• Physically fit for manual labour tasks

• Reliable, with a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
