About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Parts Interpreter to join our team at our Wetherill Park branch.
This role is primarily focused on helping customers identify and source the correct parts for their vehicles, delivering exceptional service and building strong customer relationships. While there will be some warehouse involvement from time to time, the majority of your day will be spent interpreting parts, processing orders, and supporting our customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with automotive parts experience who enjoys solving problems, working with customers, and being part of a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting customers via phone, email, and at the front counter with parts enquiries
Interpreting customer requirements and identifying the correct automotive parts
Providing accurate product information, pricing, and availability
Preparing and processing quotes, sales orders, and invoices
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through exceptional service
Developing and maintaining product knowledge across our premium European automotive brands
Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely fulfilment of orders
Supporting branch sales growth through proactive customer engagement
Assisting with stock management and inventory enquiries
Supporting warehouse operations when required, including picking and packing customer orders
Contributing to a safe, clean, and organised workplace

About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of automotive parts.
You'll bring:
Previous experience in a Parts Interpreter role or automotive industry environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good computer literacy and ability to learn new systems
Strong organisational and time management skills
A proactive, positive, and team-focused attitude
Highly regarded:
Experience interpreting parts for European vehicle brands
Experience using automotive parts cataloguing systems
Previous automotive sales experience
Forklift licence
Warehouse experience
