ABOUT THE ROLE

We have a number of casual and permanent positions available, for live projects running across the next few months

Multisystem Communications is an established data communications cabling provider in the ACT and surrounds. Typical projects include new schools, government department fitouts, and defence sector work.

Experienced technicians should have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, and hold a current ACMA license with a Cert 3 in Telecommunications. Roles and responsibilities will include interpreting floor layout plans, managing ITP’s and performing quality checks, installing structured copper and fiber, termination of Category 6, 6A UTP/STP/FTP cable and fusion-splicing of Optical Fiber cable, as well as experience with the testing and commissioning of structured data networks using a Fluke Networks tester.

Existing security clearances are also desirable.

Non-experienced candidates are required to have as a minimum, a driver’s license as well as reliable transport to work each day, an industry white card enabling access to construction sites in ACT/NSW, an industry asbestos awareness and working safely with asbestos containing materials certificates, and a silica awareness certificate.
