QUALIFIED PLUMBER MULTI SKILLED TRADESPERSON

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Qualified Plumber / Multi‑Skilled Tradesperson with earthworks and general building and metal roofing experience to join our growing team.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on, site‑based position working across residential, commercial, and civil projects. You will deliver plumbing works while also supporting general building, roofing, excavation, and site activities as required.

You will work closely with supervisors, builders, and multi‑trade teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Australian Standards, while maintaining a professional presence on site.

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Overtime and weekend work available

Key Responsibilities

• Plumbing installations, repairs, maintenance, and upgrades

• Plumbing and drainage works including rough‑ins, fit‑offs, stormwater, sewer, and water services

• Gas fitting, roofing, and stormwater works in line with Australian Standards and NCC requirements

• Assisting with earthworks, trenching, excavation, and underground services

• Installation, repair, and maintenance of metal and tile roofing on industrial/commercial and residential sites

• Supporting other trades across plumbing, carpentry, roofing, and construction

• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications

• Maintaining WHS compliance, safe work practices, and clean work areas

• Representing Ideal Trades professionally on site

• Working collaboratively to meet project deadlines and quality expectations

About You

• Qualified Plumber (Certificate III in Plumbing)

• Current NSW Plumbing Licence (or eligibility to obtain)

• Proven experience in plumbing, drainage, and construction environments

• Earthworks or civil plumbing experience highly regarded

• General building or handyman experience advantageous

• White Card (mandatory)

• Current Driver’s Licence

• Strong understanding of WHS, Safe Work NSW, and site compliance

• Ability to work independently and within a multi‑trade team

• Reliable, well‑presented, and motivated with strong attention to detail
