Poolwerx Upper North Shore is one of the largest pool retail and service businesses in New South Wales. We are a proud, multi-award-winning operator within the Poolwerx network, which is Australia’s leading brand for pool retail and mobile services.
We operate five successful locations in Killara, North Ryde, St Ives, Turramurra, and North Turramurra. As part of our recent expansion, we are looking for motivated, trade-oriented individuals to join our high-performing team and contribute to our ongoing success.
We offer genuine long-term career opportunities within a well-established and growing business. With an exceptional track record in training, development, and internal progression, we are committed to supporting our employees in succeeding, growing, and building lasting careers with us.
Team culture is of utmost importance to us, and we embrace individuals with curious minds who are eager for personal development to succeed in our business.
If you want to join our dynamic and successful team, with opportunities for growth and rewards, this role is for you!
The role involves general maintenance of pools and spas in a residential setting. The right candidate may advance into a more senior position, which includes equipment installation and system recommendations. Training will be provided for this progression.
You will be part of a dynamic team of 18 technicians, benefiting from collaboration with like-minded professionals who are dedicated to continuous learning and development. Together, we stay updated on industry trends, fostering a supportive work environment.
Performing marketing and sales activities on-site is an essential part of this role. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills. A comprehensive training program is available for individuals who may not have prior experience in the pool industry.
Our management team is deeply committed to your success, supported by our head office through ongoing training and continual staff development. We believe in investing in our people to encourage long-term personal and professional growth.
Join a dynamic, energetic, and people-focused team that strives to be the best in the industry. We offer a highly competitive salary package that reflects the value, skills, and experience the right candidate brings, along with a clearly structured and well-planned career path.
You will be provided with a fully equipped service vehicle (van) fitted with industry-leading tools, with all associated costs covered. Flexible work arrangements are available for the right candidate.
We also offer a performance-based incentive program, allowing high performers to earn well above their base salary.
As part of our ambitious three-year expansion strategy, we are planning to open additional stores. This growth will create exciting opportunities to progress into more senior roles and further advance your career. You will also have the opportunity to complete a Certificate III or IV in Swimming Pool and Spa Service, a nationally recognised industry qualification.
A career with us means long-term stability, genuine growth opportunities, and the chance to be part of a successful and established business.
Experience in the pool industry is preferred but not essential. What matters most to us is team culture and attitude. We provide excellent, comprehensive on-the-job training, and many of our team members come from diverse backgrounds and have gone on to thrive within our business. We take pride in being innovators within the industry.
We are looking for motivated, positive individuals who can work independently and take initiative. Candidates should be physically fit, enjoy working outdoors, and feel comfortable engaging with customers. If you are seeking to be part of a dynamic, performance-driven team in a positive, supportive work environment and are committed to safe work practices, we encourage you to apply.
A current unrestricted driver's license is required. You should also be comfortable handling and lifting bulky items, with the ability to lift up to 20 kg. Please forward your application letter and resume via the 'apply' button or email them directly to upp••••••••••••@poolwerx.com.au
We appreciate your interest and would like to inform you that only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
