We are seeking an experienced and driven Workshop Controller to lead daily workshop operations within a high-performing dealership environment. This position plays a critical role in managing workflow, supporting technicians, and ensuring all repairs and servicing are completed efficiently, safely, and to manufacturer standards.

Working closely with Service Advisors and management, you will oversee repair orders, allocate work effectively, and maintain strong quality control processes. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced workshop and takes pride in delivering operational excellence and team performance.

What you will be doing:

  • Coordinate and control daily workshop workflow and job allocation

  • Monitor repair orders to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely completion

  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians and apprentices

  • Conduct quality control checks on completed work

  • Liaise with Service Advisors to manage priorities and customer expectations

  • Ensure manufacturer, warranty, and safety procedures are followed

  • Support training and development within the workshop team

  • Assist with road testing and complex diagnostics when required

What you need:

  • Previous experience in a workshop leadership, foreman, or controller role

  • Strong technical automotive knowledge and diagnostic capability

  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

  • Strong communication skills across workshop and service departments

  • Current driver's licence and valid working rights

  • Pentana EraPower experience will be considered favourably
