We are Collectively Clean — a Brisbane residential cleaning service for families navigating transition and seasons in life when their home needs to feel calmer than they have time to make it. Our work is grounded, considered, and quietly thorough.

We are hiring casual residential cleaners as we grow. This is paid casual employment — not a contractor arrangement.

THE THREE THINGS THAT ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE

If you do not have all three of these in spades, please do not apply. We are not the right fit, and you would not be happy here.

1. Attention to detail — extreme. Not 'reasonable.' Not 'pretty good.' Extreme. The kind where you would rather spend ten more minutes on a job than walk away knowing the inside of a microwave was missed. The kind where you photograph your work because you are proud of it. The kind where finding a hair on a benchtop bothers you for the rest of the day.

2. Accountability — total. If something goes wrong, you tell us straight away. You do not hide it, blame the client, or hope no one notices. If you make a mistake, you own it. If a checklist item gets skipped, you tell us why. If a client is upset, you flag it the same day. Adults take responsibility for their work, and we expect that without exception.

3. Reliability — absolute. Our clients build their day around your arrival. They take time off work, get the kids out of the house, and leave doors unlocked. When you commit to a shift, you show up — on time, every time. Cancelling because something better came up, sleeping through alarms, or 'forgetting' is not something we recover from. If your life is too unpredictable to commit to a roster, this is not the role for you.

WHAT WE OFFER

• $33.00 – $36.00 per hour casual base rate (level depends on experience and the cleans you take on)

• Paid travel time between jobs

• Superannuation paid in full

• WorkCover Queensland insurance

• All cleaning products, microfibres, vacuum, and equipment are supplied

• Fuel and mileage reimbursement for use of your own vehicle

• Paid induction and paid trial cleans

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Deliver residential cleans in client homes across inner-east and inner-north Brisbane

• Follow our detailed checklists exactly — every item, every time

• Take before-and-after photos via our job tracking app

• Communicate warmly, professionally, and discreetly with clients

• Use only our supplied products, tools, and equipment

• Report issues, restocks, damages, or client concerns to the office the same day

WHO YOU ARE

• You take pride in finished work and would rather slow down than skip a corner

• You can be trusted alone in someone's home with no supervision

• You are warm, calm, and discreet — many of our clients are in sensitive seasons of life

• Formal experience in cleaning is helpful but not essential — what matters more is your standard

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

• The legal right to work in Australia

• A current Australian driver's licence

• A reliable, registered car for travel between jobs

• A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one (we reimburse the cost on hire)

HOURS

Weekdays, typically 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Variable hours week to week depending on bookings. Weekend shifts available at award penalty rates.

SERVICE AREA

Inner-east and inner-north Brisbane, with our base in Camp Hill. You will mainly work in the suburbs within 15km.
