This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying talent, and helping people take the first step in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate candidate records, interview notes, assessments, and onboarding documentation.

• Work closely with Apprenticeship Employment Managers to match suitable candidates to host employer opportunities.

• Prepare candidate summaries and recommendations for vacancies.

• Maintain a pipeline of job-ready candidates across multiple industries.

• Coordinate reverse marketing activities and candidate referrals.

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Victorian Apprenticeship Employment Manager, including scheduling, reporting, candidate tracking, and placement coordination.

• Assist with apprentice placement activities, onboarding processes, and host employer engagement.

• Support business development initiatives by preparing candidate pipelines and recruitment updates.

• Coordinate recruitment events, interview days, and group recruitment activities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, employment service providers, and community organisations.

• Promote apprenticeship pathways through school presentations, careers expos, information sessions, and student engagement activities.

• Represent Apprenticeships Are Us at networking events, industry forums, careers expos, and community events.

• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and Group Training Organisation standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in recruitment, employment services, apprenticeships, labour hire, education, or a similar people-focused role.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Confidence conducting interviews and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders.

• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong computer skills and experience using CRM or database systems.

• A proactive, professional, and solutions-focused approach.

• A genuine passion for helping people build successful careers.

• Must have a valid driver's licence
