Geelong Transport Repairs is looking for a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in North Geelong.

We've been in business for 15 years and are the authorized parts and service dealership for Kenworth, DAF and PACCAR Parts in Geelong. We also work on other trucks and trailers, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, honest advice, and keeping our customers' vehicles moving.

The Role

We're looking for a mechanic who can step into a busy heavy vehicle workshop and contribute with confidence.

You'll be working across servicing, repairs, diagnostics, maintenance & warranty work, with exposure to Kenworth, DAF, other truck brands, and trailers.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their trade, works well with others, and is willing to keep learning, including dealership training and development.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Mechanical Technology

• 5+ years' experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic

• Experience working on Kenworth and DAF vehicles

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability

• Quality workmanship and pride in doing the job properly

• Ability to work well within a team

• Willingness to train and continue learning in the Kenworth/DAF dealership environment

Also valued

• Experience working on other heavy vehicle brands and trailers

• A direct, honest, team-first attitude

• Respect for safety, process, and workshop standards

• HC License

• AC License
