About Us

Franchise Fitout Group (FFG) is a leader in delivering high-quality fitouts for some of Australia’s biggest franchise brands, including Wingstop, Five Guys, Meat & Wine Co., Mad Mex, Sheridan, and Oporto. We thrive in fast-paced environments, delivering exceptional results within tight deadlines. Our success comes from hiring top talent—people who go above and beyond.

About the Role

FFG is seeking an experienced Shopfitting Draftsperson to own the drawing office in a fast-paced shopfitting environment. In this full-time role, you’ll be at the centre of transforming design ideas into buildable, high-quality joinery. Playing a key part in the design and development of both new and ongoing projects. You’ll work across a diverse range of shopfitting projects, owning the detail, driving standards, and shaping how we deliver projects on the shop floor and on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings in TopSolid, including cutting lists, BOQs and take-offs

  • Turn architect/client concepts into practical, buildable, cost-aware solutions

  • Ensure all drawings comply with client specs, company standards and building/H&S regulations

  • Work closely with Project, Site and Production Managers to capture site measurements and critical detail

  • Identify design/operational issues and proactively redesign for better functionality and ease of installation

  • Check and sign off shop drawings before manufacture, and clearly brief the production team

  • Maintain and develop drawing libraries, standards and processes to drive efficiency

  • Communicate clearly with all stakeholders on drawing progress, priorities and changes

What We’re Looking For

  • Are an experienced interiors/shopfitting/joinery draftsperson (lead/senior level)

  • Are confident in TopSolid (or similar 3D CAD/CAM) and understand manufacturing methods and materials

  • Have a sharp eye for detail, buildability and site realities

  • Are proactive, organised and a clear communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams

  • Align with our values of accountability, teamwork, quality and continuous improvement

If you’re ready to lead the drafting function and help turn great designs into flawless installations, apply now.
