AUSMON PTY LTD is a Sydney-based construction company involved in civil and structural projects across NSW. Our team specialises in steel fixing, formwork, bridge works, metro infrastructure and large-scale building projects including high-rise and solar farm developments.
We are a hands-on workforce that values reliability, safety, and consistent delivery on site. Most of our work is delivered in collaboration with principal contractors on major infrastructure and construction projects.
Position Summary
We are currently looking for experienced Carpenters to join our construction teams on ongoing project in Adelaide.
The role will mainly involve structural carpentry and formwork-related work on civil and commercial construction sites. You will be working closely with supervisors, formworkers, steel fixers, and other trades to deliver works in line with project specifications and site schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general carpentry work on civil and commercial construction sites
Construct, erect, install and dismantle formwork for concrete structures
Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
Measure, mark, cut, assemble and install timber and engineered materials
Set out and align structures according to project requirements
Install temporary works such as supports, bracing and falsework as required
Work safely around reinforcement steel and concrete placement activities
Coordinate with other trades to ensure sequencing of works is maintained
Maintain tools, equipment and ensure work areas are kept clean and safe
Skills and Experience
Previous experience working as a Carpenter in construction (civil or commercial preferred)
Strong background in formwork or structural carpentry work
Ability to read construction drawings and follow site set-out instructions
Comfortable working on large active construction sites
Physically fit and able to perform manual work outdoors
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Essential Criteria
Minimum 2 years carpentry or construction site experience
White Card (or willingness to obtain before starting)
Basic hand and power tool competency
Ability to work full-time hours, including overtime when required
Strong commitment to safe work practices on site
Full working rights in Australia preferred
