Caravan Builder / Fit-Off Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Caravan Builder / Fit-Off Technician to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role working on premium off-road caravans and camper trailers. You will be involved in the assembly, fit-off, installation, testing, and quality control of a wide range of caravan systems and components.

The successful applicant will take pride in producing high-quality workmanship and have a strong eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and fit-out premium caravans and camper trailers.

Install and commission 12V electrical systems.

Fit battery, solar, inverter, and battery management systems.

Install plumbing systems including water pumps, tanks, taps, showers, and toilet systems.

Install diesel heaters and hot water systems.

Fit awnings, roof systems, windows, doors, hatches, and external accessories.

Install and test appliances including fridges, air conditioners, fans, and lighting.

Carry out quality control inspections and functional testing of completed vehicles.

Diagnose and rectify assembly or installation issues.

Work from drawings, checklists, and production schedules.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Skills & Experience

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Experience using hand and power tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Reliable and strong work ethic.

Ability to problem solve and think logically.

Previous caravan, camper trailer, RV, automotive, marine, cabinet making, electrical, or fabrication experience.

Knowledge of 12V electrical systems.

Forklift licence (preferred not required).
