Your new company
An established and growing facilities maintenance company is looking for experienced Carpenters and Handy Persons to join the team immediately. You will work across government, retail and commercial sites throughout Greater Sydney, with steady ongoing work, a supportive team and the chance to build a long-term career with a business that genuinely values good tradespeople.
Your new role
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You will carry out all-round maintenance including carpentry repairs, minor plumbing, painting and patching, replacing lamps, door and window repairs, small fit-out and upgrade works, client liaison and general reporting. For more senior candidates, there is also the opportunity to step into a Leading Hand position involving scoping works, pricing jobs, coordinating subcontractors and helping lead a small team.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will ideally be a trade-qualified Carpenter or an experienced Handy Person with strong all-round maintenance skills. You will also need a current NSW driver's licence, a practical attitude, the ability to work independently, confidence dealing with clients on site and basic computer skills for reporting.
