The ROLE

The Macquarie Wharf 6 Redevelopment is a transformative project designed to modernise Hobart’s port infrastructure, expand capacity for Antarctic and commercial operations, and deliver lasting economic and community benefits for Tasmania.

The project will provide upgraded berthing, shore power, and enhanced facilities to support larger vessels and future growth, positioning Hobart as a leading gateway to the Antarctic and Southern Ocean.

This role is part of The Hazell Brady Joint Venture (HBJV), dedicated to delivering the MAC 6 Wharf Redevelopment with a strong commitment to maximizing benefits for Tasmania.

This is a unique opportunity for major marine infrastructure works in Hobart.


About YOU 

Must haves

  • Trade Certificate
  • Intermediate or higher rigging experience and appropriate ticket.
  • 5+ years relevant experience in civil or marine construction industry.
  • Drivers licence.
  • Construction Industry White Card.
  • Current MSIC card or the ability to apply for one (we will arrange).
  • Current Australian Working Rights and located in Australia.

Desirable

  • Confined Space and Working at Heights permits
  • Experience in any/all of the following
    • Marine Civil Structures
    • Demoltion
    • Piling
  • Elevated Work Platform and Boom lift ticket.
  • Experience working over water
