Workforce Int. are seeking reliable Civil Labourers for both short term and long term assignments in the Newcastle/Hunter Valley area. We are seeking keen, reliable and driven labourers who are wanting to demonstrate their potential and have the opportunity to work with some of the top civil engineering companies around.
Whilst we always welcome experienced people, these roles are open to those that have considered a career in civil but never had the opportunity! Suitable employees have the opportunity to be offered permanent employment after qualifying period. You will be supported to learn all aspects of general civil labouring and earthworks on minor roads and subdivisions.
What's on offer:
$35.59 - $38.36/hour + applicable penalties + super
Daily travel allowance of $21.94
Regular Overtime Opportunities
Both short term and long term assignments
View to permanency after qualifying period
This role includes task such as:
Back filling pipes and pits
Concrete placement
Plant spotting
Shoveling
Pipelaying
Sand and gravel bagging
Dewatering
Site flagging/delineation
Using small plant such as rollers, dump trucks, plate compactors etc.
To be considered for these opportunities you MUST:
Hold a Construction White Card
Be able to pass a functional assessment which includes a drug and alcohol screen
Have reliable transport
Have a genuine interest in civil/earthworks
Be reliable and have good communication skills
Have a great work ethic and show initiative and be a team player
