South West Personnel are entering an exciting growth phase within the local industrial sector and are seeking experienced Trade Assistants to support a range of manufacturing and mining operations. These roles involve assisting qualified tradespeople across a variety of hands-on, site-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist tradespeople with maintenance and repair tasks
  • Assisting with assembly and equipment preparation
  • Manufacturing and production line support
  • Forklift operations to move equipment and materials
  • Housekeeping of work areas and cleaning of equipment to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
  • Support overall site operations, as required
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, mining or site-based environments
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Reliable, committed, and safety-focused
  • Able to undergo pre-employment medical and D&A screening
  • Confident using power tools and mechanical equipment
  • Current C Class Driver’s Licence (LF Licence advantageous)
  • Working at Heights & Confined Spaces (desirable)
  • Dogging & Rigging tickets (desirable)
  • Physically capable of working in demanding and high-temperature environments.
