About the Role

As an HC Truck Driver with Council, you will be a key member of a skilled delivery team responsible for transporting materials and supporting road construction and maintenance works across the local area. Operating heavy combination vehicles and associated plant, you will contribute to both planned works and responsive maintenance activities.

Your work plays a critical role in keeping Council’s road network safe, functional and well‑maintained.

What You Will Bring to the Role

Essential

• Class HC drivers licence
• Construction Induction Certification (White Card).
• Previous experience in operation of various plant in a construction environment.

Desirable

• Training in working near overhead powerlines
• Current Implement Traffic Control Plans and Traffic Controller Certification.

• Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award 2023.
• The positions are grade 5 in Council's salary system.
• Gross weekly wage range is $1190.00 to $1281.50 dependent upon the plant operator role, qualifications and experience.
