Traffic Controller

THIS POSTION IS BASED IN THE DARWIN REGION

Aldebaran Contracting is a civil contracting company with experience as a provider of civil construction services to the NT Government, Local Governments and the private sector throughout the Northern Territory.

We are seeking to employ a Traffic Controller, who will be responsible for maintaining safe traffic movement around an active civil construction site in accordance with the site safety plans; including setting up, monitoring, and packing down traffic control signage and equipment, carrying out traffic control plans;,communicating effectively with site personnel and the public, and assisting the broader team with general site duties when required.

Required:

• Current NT Traffic Controller Licence / Traffic Management Accreditation (WZ2 & WZ3 or equivalent)

• Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).

• Demonstrated ability to work safely and effectively both unsupervised and in a team environment.

• Good communication skills and the ability to follow clear instructions.

• Punctual, reliable, and safety-focused approach to work.

• Willingness and ability to work away from home in a remote work camp environment.
