Aldebaran Contracting is a Northern Territory Family-owned civil construction company delivering road, earthworks, concrete, and infrastructure projects throughout the Territory.
Due to continued growth and upcoming projects, we are seeking experienced Excavator Operators, Loader Operators, Dozer Operators, and MC Truck Drivers to join our team.
About the Role:
Successful applicants will be involved in a range of civil construction activities including:
Bulk and detailed earthworks
Road construction and maintenance
Quarry operations
Material haulage and carting
Drainage and concrete support works
Daily servicing and maintenance of plant and equipment
Plant Operators - Offering $45 to 55 depending on experience
Demonstrated experience operating excavators, loaders, or dozers in a civil construction environment
Ability to undertake daily pre-starts and basic maintenance
Experience working to plans and instructions
Final trim experience highly regarded
MC Truck Drivers - Offering $45 to $55 depending on experience
Current MC Licence
Experience operating road trains, side tippers, water carts, floats, or similar heavy vehicles
Strong understanding of load restraint and safe operating procedures
Civil construction experience highly regarded
Essential Requirements
Construction White Card
Relevant plant competency tickets and/or licences
Commitment to safe work practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
