Experienced Lock Up and Fix Carpenter - Full Time 6 Month Contract

EXPERIENCED LOCK UP & FIX CARPENTER NEEDED TO JOIN OUR TEAM

- 6 MONTH CONTRACT-

Buildoz Carpentry is seeking an experienced Lock Up and Fix Carpenter to join our team on a 6-month full-time contract, with a flexible start date in July and the opportunity to extend for the right candidate.

With over 25 years delivering professional carpentry services to builders and developers across Melbourne, we take pride in our reputation for quality and reliability.

The Role

You'll be executing lock up and fix tasks across a diverse mix of domestic and multi-residential projects, including both volume builder and high-end builds. Alongside your technical work, you'll play a key role in mentoring apprentices and supporting their development on site.

About You

• Experienced carpenter with a thorough understanding of all aspects of Lock Up and Fix (essential)

• Proficient in the installation of all James Hardie cladding styles (essential)

• Confident liaising with builders and other trades

• Comfortable instructing and guiding apprentices

• Strong problem-solving ability in an on-site environment

• Safety-focused with a professional attitude

• Basic computer literacy

• Own tools and work vehicle required
