Sheet Metal Worker Boilermaker

Grydale is an Australian based Original Equipment Manufacturer of an internationally patented range of fixed and mobile industrial dust collection equipment. Equipment is currently manufactured over two facilities in Brendale, QLD. 

Please note that we are moving to a new facility in Virginia within the next 3-6 months.

Due to continued growth, Grydale is seeking qualified 1st Class Sheet Metal Workers & Boilermakers to immediately fill multiple full-time positions for our day shift.

To be considered for this role, you will need to be a trade qualified (Cert III in Engineering - Light Fabrication) with experience in a similar industry role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

The following skills & experience are required:

• 3+ years’ experience with MIG

• Able to interpret plans and drawings to determine job requirements

• Primary material used is mild steel, 3mm to 5mm.

• Strong focus on weld neatness including bead width, penetration and precision

• Able to focus on safety in the work environment

• Have strong communication skills and be able to follow instructions

• Work within a team environment

• Be able to work under pressure to meet daily deadlines

Applicants will be required to perform a weld test during the interview. 

Plenty of overtime available including Saturdays.
