The Opportunity
Downer's Energy & Utilities business is seeking casual Sheet Metal Workers to provide outage services at Kogen Creek Power Station in Brigalow, QLD. Starting in mid-July 2026, Downer will offer mechanical and project services throughout the outage period. As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will apply your expertise in replacing or reinforcing damaged sheet metal in ducts, flues, and furnace walls. Cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal parts for temporary or permanent replacements. Installing new panels, guards, or enclosures as part of upgrade or safety compliance work, ensuring that all work is completed safely, effectively, and to the required standards.
