Pearl are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter for our client who are a WA owned supplier to the construction and building industry. Based in the north-east suburbs of Perth this position will commence on a temp basis with a view for permanency within 3 months.
 
This role will see you working day shift hours only although there could be potential down the track to move into a shift-pattern roster should that be desired. 
 
The Role:
As part of the maintenance team, you will be required to:
  • Perform repairs and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults efficiently.
  • Assist in installation, assembly, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Must Haves:
  • Relevant Trade qualification (NZ & UK Trade Certs accepted) 
  • Ideally hold WAH and CS (or willing to obtain) 
  • Current Drivers Licence with own transport
  • Permanent resident of Australia (sorry no holiday visa's)
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
What's on Offer:
  • Monday - Friday - 6AM - 2:06PM Roster 
  • $57.10 p/hr + super, with penalties for hours over 38 hours per week.
