Pipe Welder Pipe Fitter

The Company

Based in Canning Vale, we are a growing multi-discipline design and construct business delivering projects across Mining and Defence. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Pipe Welder / Pipe Fitter to join our team. You will start as casual with the potential to stay on full time.

The Role:

This role offers a combination of Perth-based and FIFO work, reflected in the rate range.

You will work independently and within teams to deliver exciting project and maintenance works safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Duties and Skills to include (but not limited to):

• Perform mechanical construction and maintenance works with a strong focus on safety and quality

• Proficiency in TIG welding processes is required.

• Plan, prioritise, and organise tasks to meet project schedules

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues

• Prepare material lists and job documentation

• Provide daily progress updates and reports to line management

• Communicate professionally with clients and internal stakeholders

• Supervise apprentices and other workers when required

• Actively contribute to continuous improvement and teamwork

• Uphold a Zero Harm safety culture and comply with all WHS requirements

You will need:

• Mechanical Trade Qualification (Fitter / Welder)

• Rio Inducted (highly desirable but not mandatory)

• Construction White Card

• Working at Heights

• Australian work rights (Permanent Residency required)
