WATM Crane Sales and Service is a privately owned, specialist, crane dealership with 50 years of experience in the industry. WATM leads the market in the supply and support of several of the world's leading brands, including exclusive distribution for Manitowoc (Grove) cranes and Hiab. We import new cranes and sell throughout WA.

Operating across four locations in Perth and the Pilbara region, WATM has purpose-built infrastructure spanning over 13,000m2. We are conveniently located in Bayswater, not far from Tonkin Highway on/off ramps and the Perth airport.

About the role

Several years of strong sales growth across all brands of capital equipment, has now created further opportunities for Heavy-Duty Plant Mechanics with crane experience to join our product support team as a Crane Technician.

With both Perth based and remote work involved, successful applicants will have the opportunity to earn well above industry hourly rates, whilst still having the added benefit of being Perth based.

About you

Experience on Manitowoc crawler cranes, Grove all terrain hydraulic cranes and rough terrain hydraulic cranes is preferred, however candidates from the automotive industry looking to move into larger equipment may be considered. You must have a strong aptitude for electronic diagnostics and experience with CANBUS systems.

• Trade qualifications in Mobile Equipment Fitting / Plant Mechanics or relevant Motor Trade qualifications (Cert IV or higher).

• Ideally 3 years' experience as a qualified Crane Technician.

• Minimum "C" Class driver's licence.

• Experience in managing customer relationships and promoting services.

• A strong work ethic with the ability to work autonomously.

• Strong problem-solving ability.

• An uncompromising approach to safety.

• A desire to learn, up-skill and be a part of the WATM product support team.
