Luxcom Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Carpenter to join our growing team in Perth, WA.

The successful candidate will lead a small team of carpenters and trades assistants while ensuring all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise carpentry teams on residential and commercial projects.

• Coordinate daily site activities and allocate tasks.

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Install and construct timber framing, cladding, fit-outs, and finishing works.

• Ensure all work complies with Australian building standards and WHS requirements.

• Monitor project progress and report directly to Site Supervisors and Management.

• Mentor apprentices and trades assistants.

• Maintain high-quality workmanship and productivity on site.

Requirements:

• Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III or equivalent).

• Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience.

• Previous Leading Hand or Team Leader experience preferred.

• White Card.

• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

• Strong knowledge of Australian building standards and construction practices.

• Ability to lead a team and work independently.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
