About the role:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about our core values to join our team. Our company places a high priority on safety, teamwork, quality, customer service, respect, and employee wellbeing.

The role has a strong focus on day-to-day operational works with possible management of fellow site electricians and apprentices as well as client liaison and supplier & subcontractor co-operation. You will ensure compliance with company policies, safe work practices and statutory requirements and manage and comply with HSE requirements and incident reporting as necessary.
 

To be successful in these roles it is essential to: 
1. Be enthusiastic, motivated, organised & proactive. 
2. Possess proven integrity, professionalism, and discretion knowing you will strive to do the right thing. 
3. Have proven leadership and/or leadership qualities (Tradesman applicants only).
4. Hold ability to communicate clearly with our clients, our suppliers, partners, and the team.
5. Have excellent English verbal & written communication skills.
6. Possess a current electrical license in your nominated state or territory with a strong knowledge of all electrical systems and equipment. For apprentice applicants, you will need to be currently enrolled in an accredited RTO certificate III in Electrotechnology recognised course, heading towards the completion of studies in anticipation of obtaining your electrical license.
7. Be committed to all aspects of Safety. 
8. Possess a current Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) Registration or Open Cablers Registration (not mandatory, but preferred - Tradesman applicant requirement only) 
9. Possess a valid driver’s license – (manual experience as preferred) 
10. Possess an EWP license for above and below 11mts (not essential, but preferred)
11. Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook computer programs.
12. Be a permanent Australian resident and reside in the metropolitan area.
13. Demonstrate commercial awareness of contractual obligations. 
14. Have a good understanding of apprentice supervision requirements (Tradesman applicant requirement only).
15. Demonstrate a sound understanding of checking and testing requirements, AS/NZS 3000:2018 Wiring Rules and relevant state SIR (service installation requirements)
