We are seeking a leading hand Small Engine Mechanic seeking a hands-on role with one of Australia's leading retailers of high-pressure cleaning and jetting equipment?
Based in Castle Hill, NSW, High Pressure Jetters is looking for a full-time Mechanic to join our expanding team to meet the demand.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseas all workshop duties, assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of high-pressure cleaning and jetter equipment, including custom vehicle fit-outs and mechanical assemblies.
Mechanical assembly and fitting of high-pressure cleaning and jetter equipment
Installation of hose reels, toolboxes, frames, brackets, pumps, and related components
Hose crimping and assembly of hydraulic and high-pressure lines
Custom vehicle installations and equipment fit-outs
Fault finding and rectification of mechanical issues
Testing, adjusting, and commissioning equipment to ensure optimal performance
Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Maintaining accurate records of work completed
Providing professional customer service and basic operational guidance when required
Participating in ongoing training to stay current with products and industry developments
Trade qualification as a Small Engine Mechanic (or equivalent relevant experience)
Proven experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, or equipment installation
Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, or equipment installation is required
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
High attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
A valid driver's licence
Valid car licence (C class) is required
Australian permanent residency status is required
Bonus (not essential):
Mechanically minded with experience in hydraulics, pressure systems, or custom equipment builds
Exposure to fabrication, mobile equipment, or industrial machinery
