HOF Electrical is seeking an experienced A Grade Service Electrician to join our growing Service Division.
This role involves carrying out maintenance, fault finding, testing, compliance inspections, emergency breakdowns and small project works across a range of commercial and industrial facilities throughout Melbourne.
The successful applicant will be provided with a fully maintained take-home company vehicle and will operate both independently and as part of a wider service team delivering high-quality electrical solutions to our clients.
Electrical fault finding and repairs
Planned preventative maintenance
Emergency breakdown response
Testing and commissioning of electrical installations
RCD testing and compliance inspections
Emergency and exit lighting inspections and repairs
Switchboard maintenance, upgrades and modifications
Lighting and power installations
Thermal imaging inspections
Test and tag services
Generator and backup power system maintenance
EV charger installations and maintenance
Completion of electronic service reports and compliance documentation
Liaising with clients, building managers and facility managers
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, safety and professionalism
Identifying and reporting opportunities for additional works
Current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Minimum 3 years post-trade experience
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage workloads effectively
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong understanding of Australian Standards and electrical compliance requirements
Commitment to workplace safety and quality outcomes
CPR and First Aid
EWP Licence
Working at Heights
Thermal Imaging experience
Commercial maintenance experience
Generator or critical power experience
Experience working within occupied commercial environments
