GEM Resourcing is currently recruiting a Trade Qualified Boilermaker/Welder for a long-term opportunity based locally in Perth (multiple locations)

You will be working on large structural components in a well-organised workshop.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced tradesperson with strong structural fabrication, welding, and pipe fitting experience. This business has a close-knit, family-style culture and is ideally suited to someone seeking long-term employment and job security.

While this is a hands-on trades role, you will also work closely with the Supervisor and assist with coordinating workflow on the floor, setting standards and supporting the team where required.

Essential Skills & Experience
To be considered, you must demonstrate:

• Trade qualification in Boilermaking / Fabrication
• Strong fabrication experience (essential)
• Proven experience working with heavy structural steel (essential)
• Pipe fitting experience (essential)
• Competent MIG & TIG welding skills
• Ability to read and interpret workshop and engineering drawings
• Experience setting up jigs and fixtures
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision

• Currently based in Perth, WA
• Full Australian working rights
• Two recent, contactable employer references
