Our client is a leading Australian tier 2 contractor delivering remediation, refurbishment and infrastructure solutions across a diverse range of sectors. Due to continued project growth throughout the Newcastle region, our client is seeking an experienced Roof Plumber to support the delivery of a range of remediation and maintenance projects. Opportunities to progress to Leading hand and supervisor.

Working closely with project delivery teams, you will undertake roofing, drainage and waterproofing works across commercial and industrial assets, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Install, repair and maintain roofing systems including metal roofing, gutters, flashings and downpipes
• Inspect roofing and plumbing systems to identify leaks, deterioration and maintenance requirements
• Install and maintain drainage systems, water supply lines, fixtures and associated plumbing infrastructure
• Apply waterproofing systems, sealants, flashings and insulation to prevent water ingress
• Diagnose and rectify roofing and plumbing defects, including leaks, blocked drains and water pressure issues
• Ensure all works comply with relevant building codes, safety standards and industry regulations
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, EWPs, harnesses and other site equipment
• Complete emergency repair works when required
• Work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure successful project outcomes

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Roof Plumbing trade qualification or relevant industry experience
• Construction White Card
• Current Driver's Licence
• Experience within roofing, remediation, maintenance or construction environments
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable work ethic with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
