About the role

We are seeking a passionate 1st-2nd Year Apprentice to join our vibrant hairdressing team at our salon in Kingston, ACT. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in the hair and beauty industry. As a 1st-2nd Year Apprentice, you will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to develop your skills and work towards obtaining your hairdressing qualification.

What you'll be doing

Assisting senior stylists with hair washing, blow-drying and basic styling services
Completing daily salon duties such as cleaning, restocking and maintaining the salon environment
Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring clients feel valued and cared for
Actively participating in training sessions to continuously expand your hairdressing knowledge and techniques
Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

A genuine passion for the hair and beauty industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and colleagues
A positive, eager-to-learn attitude and willingness to take direction
Basic knowledge of hairdressing practices and a desire to develop your skills further
Availability to work a full-time schedule, including evenings and weekends with 3 days off a week
Australian citizenship is required for this apprenticeship position
